Excellent!. I was at the store and saw someone with the cutest hair. She said she got it done at Verita with Deesha. The salon is all decked out for Xmas and beautiful! Deesha was so friendly-offering me iced tea and desserts when I got there. She gave me a great consultation. I could tell she really wanted to get my look just right, so I trusted her when she suggested an entirely new look. I am glad I did because the compliments haven't stopped coming in!!!! Now my entire family has booked appts with her and we can't wait to see what she will do for them!

 

Amazing Cuts and Styles. I went to Verita for the first time last week and found the salon to be lovely, in a fabulous location (Oldtown Monrovia) and spotless. I was even more thrilled by the quality of work by one of their stylists "Decia". I went in there frustrated with my dry over processed, badly dyed/cut hair and I walked out with smooth/shiny wonderful hair. I absolutely love the color and I think my hair was saved from being chopped off by an amazing Brazilian Blowout. I can't remember the last time I have had such soft hair. I appreciate all the suggestions and options that were presented to me during the consultation. The snacks and coffee were a really nice extra as well. I will be a regular customer and sending my friends Decia's way. Thanks so much!

 

 

Loving the new look!. My stylist moved away so i went to this salon because my husbands stylist works there. It is the prettiest salon I have seen. I have dark brown hair and have always wanted to go lighter but was told it would damage my hair too much. Decia said there were ways to do it to avoid all the damage. I was really excited, but nervous. When I walked from the shampoo area and she took off the towel I could already see the highlights! As she blow dryed my hair, I could see all the colors she used-I think 3. It looked totally natural, like I was born with it! Not only was there no damage, but it was shinier and softer than when I started!

p.s. my husband got a kiss for his stylist recommendation and I got one back because he loved my new look!

 

 

Excellent Service, Cut and Color. If you want a specialized cut, color or consultation Verita is the place for you. Decia Brooks is the stylist I have been going to for some time now. I know that whatever cut or color I am interested in, she will take the time to consult with me and ensure we are both in agreement with the results. I have never been dissapointed and have tried many colors and styles, from very long to very short cuts. Decia will go over how you too can achieve the same style at home, which I find very useful.

Sexy, Conservative, or Rocker, you name it, she can do it! Have fun and try this place out, you will leave feeling satisfied with the results!

 

 

Best Bridal Services. I've been going to Verita and Decia for 2 years. I agree with the other reviewer that Verita is very classy. They are very friendly, professional, and I LOVE the decor. To me it feels high-end yet comfortable.

For my wedding, Decia asked me questions and helped me figure out what I wanted to look like. She is very knowledgeable about hair in photography, attended to every detail, and led me through the process of taking pictures and doing a trial run.

When my wedding day came I felt calm and able to have fun. She even taught my bridesmaids how to make sure my hair and veil looked great in the pictures and at the altar. I was showered with compliments on my hair and looked and felt just gorgeous. Decia gave me the best hair ever...including clip-in hair extensions which she dyed and cut and curled to match my hair perfectly! It made my hair so full and shiny and several inches longer. Even though my hair was longer, my closest girlfriends and the Groom didn't even know until I told them. That's how perfectly it matched.

She has creative vision, so much expertise, great taste and style, and most importantly she listens and knows how to do what you want. Verita is highly recommended too. Its a pleasure to come.

 

 

A Great Place. My Hairstylist works at this Salon. I have been seeing her for over a decade. She is great! The Salon itself is very clean and classy. There is a place to change if you don't want to chance getting anything on your clothes. Refreshments are available while you wait for your dye to set. A really good Salon.

Ask for Decia! She does it right every-time!

I received a gift certificate from my Sister for Decia at Verita since I moved from Arizona. The Salon looks like something that should be in Beverly Hills, but everyone there is nice. During the consultation i had that oooh i trust this stylist feeling. She just seemed to really listen to the problems I have struggled with my hair. She had a few ideas in mind and we decided together on a completely new style and high lites. I wasn't even nervous. When she finished, I couldn't believe the transformation!! I went straight to my Sisters house and everyone went crazy over my new look. Something cool that she did was to use my cell phone to take a photo of how she styled it, so that I could look at it as I styled it the next day. p.s. make sure to get the conditioning treatment-she massages your head, neck and shoulders-its heavenly!!

 

what I requested and the cut was perfection bring life back to my hair. I felt like a new person and blessed to have met such an honest and fair person. I will be a regular customer for sure. Thanks Decia!!!

I went back to Verita and Decia introduced me to some really fun hair bling. After an amazing dye, cut and style I had hair tinsel and feathers added and I love it. I have never received so many compliments in my life. I left there feeling like a rock star. The price was so affordable - I will be back with friends for sure.Thanks so much.

Verita Salon is a lovely place. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. The decor is elegant, but not outrageous.

 I have been getting my hair done by Decia for 3 years. I get bored quickly with hairstyles and she is always game for giving me a new look. No matter what she does, it always comes out amazeing and I get lots of compliments and who doesn't love that?!! I love the salon she works in- it is fun to see everyone elses new looks.

I have never written a review, but am taking the time to do it for the exceptional service I received at Verita Salon. I was referred by my Aunt who got a Brazilian Blowout from her stylist Decia. I have the same type of hair that frizzes no matter how much I spend on hair products. I went in for a consultation and Decia explained that this service uses NO chemicals! It is an intensive conditioning treatment that lasts 12 weeks to smooth your hair. It was very relaxing and smelled wonderful, but the results are Phenomenal!! My hair is so shiny and silky smooth! I can't stop touching it! Decia, you rock!!!!
